With the beginning of a new year, we have plans to move ahead with many projects.  We hope to attract businesses to the Industrial Park to the East on Hwy 90 with the hope of creating some new jobs.  Hopefully you have noticed the improvements being made to one of the buildings at the four-way stop that used to be downtown Sneads.  We are hoping this will attract other businesses and we will be looking for grant money to do some fixing up over there ourselves -- some attractive (decorative) street lights, flower beds, better sidewalks, etc.  Also on the list is an attempt to come up with community events at the Recreation Park on Legion Road and Hwy 90.  And, we will be working on the land use plan for Sneads Park out by the lake so we might make better use of that park and provide some great recreation opportunities for our residents as well as attract visitors to the area.

We are looking forward to a great year for the Town of Sneads and I welcome any ideas that you, our resident, might have.
